In our bountiful basket we got several little yellow guavas. I've never eaten one before so we'll see how they are. Last week's persimmons were delicious so hopefully the guavas will be too.
My disappointment this week was shopping for a swimsuit. Last year in October I wanted a new swimsuit for our cruise and I just happened to get to the department stores when swimwear was marked way down. I got a Land's End suit for $5. So my goal was to do the same thing this year. Unfortunately we were sick the first 2 weeks of October and when I went this week the summer clearance was already gone to make room for new fall clothing. Bummer. No $5 swimsuit this year.
